Mould Spray is formulation of silicone fluid propellants and additives on spraying. It is deposited on the surface to which it is applied, and thin film of silicone fluid is serviceable from (-1>) to 250ºC & 300ºC. It aquire excellent lubricant oxidising and non-carbonising in nature. These properties enable the use of silicone spray as a mould release fluid in the molding operations of plastic & rubber.

Mould Spray are in the B-side 1/2 of the mould, the facet in which the phase stays when the mould is opened. Once the mould is opened, pins prolong into the mould cavity, pushing the section out, and then retract, letting the mould shut and be refilled. Available in materials like High Speed Steel, Hardened Steel, and Stainless Steel.
